COP3 - Logo

I started designing the logo for Flick. I want it to be simple and straight to the point because that is the most appropriate given the context, size and tone of voice.

I really wanted to try and incorporate the clapperboard in the k. It didn't work but you can see the development here.

I wanted the font to be friendly and casual, so I used a sans serif and created rounded corners for it to achieve this in a bold weight.

I tried the play button inside the C which could work but I didn't like it

I tried the clapperboard again in a different letter but felt it didn't represent it at all

Here I substituted the dot for a play button to make it relevant which I like. I think I will use this as the logo.
